Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for various surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, urology, and GI
- Collaborate with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations
- Manage perioperative anesthesia
- Respond to emergencies
- Deliver regional anesthesia and pain management
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for Louisiana licensure
Qualifications
- Experience supervising CRNAs
- Strong teamwork skills
