About the role
The Anesthesia Technician position at Providence Alaska Medical Center is full-time, 0.9 FTE, with variable shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Supports anesthesiologists and other members of the patient care team.
- Operates as the operational expert in all aspects of anesthesia equipment and duties.
- Provides leadership, models correct standards of performance, and fosters a positive working environment.
- Directs, trains, and oversees other Anesthesia Assistant staff.
Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- One year experience assisting with anesthesia care.
- Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS and PALS certifications.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $23.81 - $36.44.
