Anesthesia Technician - Providence Alaska Medical Center
About the role
We are hiring for an Anesthesia Technician position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Position is Part time, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed.
Responsibilities
- Supports the anesthesiologists and other members of patient care team.
- Operational expert in all aspects of Anesthesia equipment and duties.
- Provides leadership, models correct standards of performance, and facilitates a positive working environment.
- Directs, trains, and oversees other Anesthesia Assistant staff.
Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year experience assisting with Anesthesia care.
- Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment.
Qualifications
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year experience assisting with Anesthesia care.
- Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Upon hire: ACLS and PALS.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
