Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm-7am
Call every other Sunday 6:30pm-10:30pm
No Weekends

About the Role

Loyola Medicine is a member of Trinity Health, a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The system includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and more than 1,500 physicians serving Cook, Will, and DuPage counties.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care by supporting anesthesia providers and surgical teams.
• Ensures anesthesia equipment and supplies are ready.
• Performs laboratory tests in the Anesthesia Blood Gas Lab.
• Assists anesthesia providers and surgical teams.
• Supports difficult airways, trauma cases, and other needs.
• Ensures patient safety by properly setting up equipment and following guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects anesthesia equipment between patients and after the OR schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required.

Qualifications

• Training acquired through work experience or education preferred.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Pay

$17.30-$26.81 per hour
