Anesthesia Technician | 0.5 FTE

About the role

Emplify Health is a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, a leading not‑for‑profit, patient‑centered healthcare network serving Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The Anesthesia Technician cleans and stocks anesthesiology work areas and assists anesthesiology providers to ensure anesthesia services are available to patients.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock anesthesiology work areas.
• Assist anesthesiology providers as necessary to make anesthesia services available to patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• BLS certification for healthcare workers.
• One of the following certifications or credentials:
  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (NREMT)
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (NREMT‑P)
  • Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT‑B)
  • Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology (acceptable in lieu of certification)

Schedule

• 0.5 FTE, 40 hours bi‑weekly (approximately 20 hours per week).
• Rotation of day and PM shifts, including:
  • 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
  • 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
  • 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • 6:45 am – 3:15 pm
  • 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
  • 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
• Weekend/holiday rotation with on‑call duty approximately every other month.

Pay

Starting pay: $20.51 per hour, with higher rates for additional experience.
