Anesthesia Tech - Surgical Services, PRN

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesia providers and other healthcare members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure.
• Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services.
• Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Provides comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: 1 year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting Preferred, 2 years Previous experience in an operating room Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required, Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
