Anesthesia Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team in a collaborative academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive critical care management for SICU patients
• Delivering perioperative and post-operative critical care support
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
• Participating in call coverage as assigned

Qualifications

• MD or DO with eligibility for practice in Florida
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
• Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or research preferred
• Experience in perioperative management or neurocritical care is a plus
