Qualifications
Active ABA certification
Demonstrated leadership experience and interpersonal communication skills
Appointment by the PHC Chief of Anesthesia
May also serve as the facility's Department Chair
Responsibilities
- Making sure the facility needs for anesthesia services are met through regular meetings with the facility's leadership
- Ensuring there are enough professional staff to support the facility's anesthesia needs in collaboration with Service Line leadership
- Overseeing the scheduling of all Anesthesia Service Line staff practicing within the facility
- Maintaining required communications with Anesthesia Service Line staff to support efficient business operations
- Appointing and managing a Lead Anesthetist for the facility
- Representing the Piedmont Human Resources department in the management and evaluation of all employed Service Line professional staff practicing within the facility
- Communicating with the Department Chair regarding any clinical events requiring review by a committee of the medical staff organization
Appointment and Management
Accountable to the PHC Chief of Anesthesia regarding adequacy of clinical staffing, the maintenance of professional practice standards, and compliance with all regulatory requirements
Collaborates with the facility's Department Chair to ensure the implementation of professional practice standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements
Accountable to the facility's Practice Manager and the PHC Vice President for Anesthesia with regard to supporting efficient business operations
Accountable to the Piedmont Human Resources department regarding the terms of employment for all employed Service Line professional staff practicing within the facility
Pay
An administrative stipend paid based on documented hours
