Responsibilities

• Refine craft in terms of close-up style and big-picture storytelling discipline
• Apply a copy-editor's forensic eye for detail
• Switch to a reader's-eye view to tune in to the story's subtext and emotional impact
• Help improve and optimise individual books
• Work on maintaining consistency and continuity across the series
• Develop and maintain an extensive story bible of character profiles and world elements

Qualifications

• Proven experience refining craft in both style and storytelling discipline
• Demonstrated copy-editing ability with forensic attention to detail
• Capacity to switch between editorial and reader perspectives
• Experience maintaining consistency and continuity across a series with multiple narrative threads
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive story bibles (character profiles, world elements)
