Andrology/Endocrinology Laboratory Assistant

About the role

The Andrology/Endocrinology Laboratory Assistant position is available at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York in New York, New York (Eastside).

Responsibilities

• Perform Andrology / Endocrinology data entry
• Perform laboratory quality control procedures
• Aid in preparing daily schedules and Andrology / Endocrinology records for upcoming IVF patients
• Witness patient identification labels during procedures
• Clean laboratory supplies and equipment
• Assist with restocking laboratory supplies according to lot numbers and expiration dates
• Facilitate the transfer of cryopreserved sperm samples
• Collaborate with other members of the Andrology / Endocrinology team to assist with procedure completion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a busy, complex working environment
• Proven skills in accessing, inputting, and retrieving information from a computer
• Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Pay

$19.20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule

Saturday through Wednesday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with holidays (only if needed) and the ability to float to the Westside and/or Brooklyn locations as needed
