Android Mobile Software Developer I
This role is a hybrid opportunity for candidates to work in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from our Seattle, San Francisco, or Detroit offices and work remotely all other days.
About the Role
- Contribute to complex, technical projects that change the way people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
- Collaborate with your teammates by reviewing code, writing documentation, and building maintainable and testable codebases.
- Work closely with our product and design teams to understand user and business needs.
- Leverage Android best practices and design principles, bringing in industry trends where applicable.
- Use approved AI code generation tools to document, architect, and create code.
This role may include participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability. On-call responsibilities may include coverage during nights and weekends. If applicable, frequency and scheduling will be determined by team needs and communicated accordingly.
Requirements
- You are a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
- You have 6+ months of Native iOS development experience through technical internships or other professional experience.
- You have practical experience building Android applications in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and a solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Effective communication: you can collaborate across distances and experience levels, and you can disagree constructively with respect for everyone’s opinions and ideas.
- You stay on top of what's happening in the Android community and are always looking for ways to improve the products you make.
- You love working with a smart, talented team because you know that makes you better.
- You have a passion for well-architected, clean, well-written code.
- Experience with running experiments and experimentation frameworks a plus.
- You have experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

Pay
The compensation for this position is $118,800.00-$145,200.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Seattle, San Francisco, or Detroit offices, and remote all other days.
