Android Mobile Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a strong Android Mobile Developer.

• Assess and provide programming support to the analytic staff in modeling, designing, developing, coding, maintaining, and testing of modern, data-intensive mobile applications.
• Acquire knowledge of programming procedures and standards.
• Design, code, and test application software, as well as modify existing software to reflect changes in functional requirements.
• Code efficiently while adhering to established programming standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation to manage program development and revisions.
• Prepare instructions and user documentation for users/operators.
• Modify programs to increase operating efficiency.
• Prepare test data and validate software for accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
• One year of experience dealing with designing, developing, testing, and deploying production-grade applications.
• Familiarity with Android frameworks.
• Familiarity with multiple package managers such as Cocoa Pods, Carthage, and Swift Package Manager.

Qualifications

• Software development with a focus on Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Java, Kotlin for Android development and Android SDK.
• REST, GraphQL, JSON.
• Unit tests and bug fixing.
• Understanding of architecture patterns: MVC, MVP, etc.
• Development tools: Android Studio.
• Testing tools: Espresso, Postman.
• Ability to work accurately with a legacy code.
• Ability to organize and delegate work to the team.
