Android Developer (contract)

About the role

Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control workflows.
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Firebase and Google Play Console.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Pay

$43.60/hour - $68.13/hour.
