About The Role

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile app development on the Android platform is essential, with proficiency in Java and Kotlin, including Kotlin DSL for build scripts.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, third-party libraries, and tools such as Android Studio is required.
• Additional experience with iOS development using Swift or Objective-C is considered a strong plus.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of multi-threading, RESTful service integration, and UI/UX customization.
• Knowledge of design patterns, architectural principles like MVVM, and lifecycle management is necessary.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and bug tracking tools will be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define app features and functionalities.
• Implement UI/UX best practices to ensure seamless and engaging user experiences across various Android devices and screen sizes.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including unit tests, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and profiling to optimize app performance and stability.
• Manage the entire app lifecycle, including submission to Google Play Store, updates, and version control.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and product quality.
• Support and troubleshoot existing applications, providing timely resolutions to issues and implementing enhancements based on user feedback.
