Android Developer

About the role

The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for the company's Android platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin programming language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, user experience designers, and quality assurance engineers to understand requirements and deliver on-time, high-performance solutions.
• Ensure the application adheres to design specifications and meets performance and security standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall codebase quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience developing Android applications.
• Experience with Kotlin programming language.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, and components.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Swift.
• Experience with Android Studio and other development tools.
• Knowledge of Android APIs and SDKs.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks like Espresso.
