Anchor/Reporter

About the role

KMPH is seeking a full-time News Anchor / Reporter to join their dynamic team. This position involves producing daily content across multiple platforms, including the internet and social networks, while also performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Dig for stories, research, and write with an edge
• Create impactful and memorable content using strong storytelling and TV production
• Identify and deliver significant content in a timely and impactful manner
• Generate story ideas on a daily basis
• Showcase enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
• Maintain an active social media presence to build a brand and solicit original story ideas
• Occasionally fill-in as a producer
• MMJ a story and produce newscasts in a prior market

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous anchoring experience required
• Must have at least 4 years of on-air experience
• Live shot experience required
• Experience working in a team environment required

Skills and Experience

• A self-starter who generates own story ideas daily
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay

The base salary compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
