For a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking an Anaplan Systems Architect to own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Own the Anaplan strategic roadmap for sales compensation, headcount planning, and forecasting
- Lead investigations for data integrity issues when Anaplan does not align with source systems
- Manage relationships with external consultants, overseeing proposals and accountability
- Translate evolving commission plans and organizational changes into scalable Anaplan models
- Drive finance transformation by modernizing FP&A planning and reporting processes
- Improve processes and controls to catch data issues pre-payroll and month-end close
- Present platform strategy and recommendations to finance leadership, evaluating build-vs-buy options
- Mentor and build a team responsible for model builds, integrations, and support
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Anaplan solutions, including 3+ years in a senior role managing stakeholders directly
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 2+; Master Anaplanner preferred)
- Expertise in developing Anaplan models for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and sales compensation
- Proven record of leading finance transformation initiatives and modernizing legacy finance processes
- Strong knowledge of sales compensation structures and ASC 606 accounting principles
- Ability to resolve complex cross-system data reconciliation issues independently
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management, influencing senior leadership
Pay
$152,000 – $190,000 annually
