Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager in Branch Oversight & Support as part of Consumer Banking & Lending. This leader will operate at the intersection of risk monitoring, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation, bringing a versatile leadership style, strong technologist mindset, and a passion for applying AI in practical, scalable ways.

About the role

The Analytics Senior Manager will lead advanced analytics initiatives to accelerate FLM's transition to its target-state lifecycle. The role focuses on delivering solutions that improve detection of emerging risks while maintaining strong governance and audit defensibility, and shaping how FLM operates going forward.

  • Drive solutions across the full analytics lifecycle—problem framing, data design, model development, and insight delivery—within a scaled, reusable, and configuration-driven environment
  • Champion and operationalize AI, agentic workflows, and coding assistant tools (e.g., Copilot-enabled development) as core to how monitoring is designed, built, and executed
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to deliver clear, actionable insights that improve risk clarity and influence decision-making
  • Lead and develop a future-ready, AI-fluent analytics team, operating as a hands-on, versatile leader and technologist
  • Play a key role in advancing FLM's target-state lifecycle by combining strategy, execution, and innovation to improve how monitoring is designed, delivered, and scaled

Requirements

  • Deep experience in analytics, anomaly detection, and data-driven problem solving, with the ability to translate complexity into measurable outcomes
  • Strong in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of SAS and modern visualization tools, and a track record of building end-to-end solutions
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation, paired with curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and apply new capabilities responsibly
  • Able to simplify and present complex analytics to senior stakeholders and influence across Risk, Business, and Technology partners
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, brings a solutions-oriented mindset, and flexes between strategic leadership and hands-on execution
  • Builds strong teams, develops talent, and fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • 7+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading the design and implementation of automated risk monitoring or surveillance solutions across complex environments
  • Strong ability to translate risk and control requirements into scalable, production-ready technical solutions
  • Deep expertise in data-driven monitoring, analytics, and automation frameworks that improve speed, consistency, and coverage
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce manual processes by building reusable, standardized monitoring capabilities
  • Experience partnering across Risk, Front Line, Governance, and Technology teams to deliver sustainable solutions
  • Strong understanding of front-line risk management (FLM), control environments, and regulatory expectations
  • Track record of driving modernization initiatives, including scaling capabilities across multiple lines of business
  • Ability to design solutions that adapt to evolving platforms, products, and risk landscapes
