Analytics Manager

About the role
The Analytics Manager is responsible for monitoring and optimizing operations; interpreting, designing, and developing appropriate analyses to research complex problems; and designing, developing, and implementing reports for use by executive management. You will manage a staff of Business/Operational Analysts and design analyses to solve complex operational, financial, and/or accounting problems. The manager assists with developing and maintaining reporting tools to support Parallon operations, including tools to measure financial and operational performance. The role involves close collaboration with executive management to research, analyze, and explain operational trends and results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of analysts to handle the analytical needs of Parallon CSO.
- Develop and produce month-end and ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.
- Work with Operations Management and Process Innovation staff to assess the efficiency of workflows, practices, processes, procedures, and/or systems.
- Promote efficiency and repeatability of reporting and analytical tasks, including documentation and automation.
- Communicate regularly with operational executives to ensure smooth data collection and reporting processes.
- Build a strong understanding of Parallon revenue cycle operations, including business processes, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure accuracy of reported data with strong attention to detail.
- Minimal travel may be required.
Requirements
- Degree preferred, preferably in a related discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Managerial Accounting) with a business emphasis. Equivalent work experience may substitute if the individual has served as a Staffing leader or Management Engineer in a prior role.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, including coding SQL queries and developing analytics solutions using Tableau, MicroStrategy Visual Insight, Power BI, and/or Qlik.
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle business processes preferred.
- Experience working with databases/SQL and the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in individual and group settings.
- Lean/Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
