Contract role with a fast-moving, product-led business. Outside IR35, 6-month contract, hybrid working (twice a week in central London), £500-£520 per day.
About the role
Hands-on Analytics Engineer position sitting between data engineering and analytics. You will build clean, reliable data models that power reporting and decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with BI and engineering teams, own dbt models end-to-end, and help improve data quality, performance, and overall usability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dbt models for analytics and reporting
- Develop well-structured data models (staging → marts)
- Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable datasets
- Improve data quality, testing, and documentation
- Optimise performance across a modern cloud warehouse
Requirements
- Strong dbt + SQL experience in production environments
- Experience working with BigQuery or Snowflake
- Solid understanding of data modelling / warehousing concepts
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Exposure to BI tools (Tableau etc.)
- Python experience
- Marketing data experience
Pay
£500 - £520 per day
Schedule
- 6-month contract
