What You’d Do In This Role
- The Analytics Engineer produces consumable data products, including analytical data models and curated tables, metrics, and visualizations that enable others to explore trends, ask questions, and apply data in decision-making.
- The Analytics Engineer focuses on enabling reasoning by others through well-designed warehouse models and clear visual representations of data.
What Winning Looks Like
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts, ensuring high standards of data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using modern tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, AWS Redshift), including monitoring for performance and data integrity.
- Establish and enforce robust data quality checks and monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve data issues.
- Develop and maintain source-of-truth reports and dashboards for key business metrics, ensuring consistency across all reporting channels.
- Build deep expertise in key datasets and data models to support reliable, well-informed analytics.
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data products.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to analytics customers and stakeholders on data-related strategy and best practices.

Pay
Salary: $77,000–$113,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits Range depends on skill level and overall experience.
