Analytics Engineer 2

For our client, we are seeking an Analytics Engineer 2 to join the team of a leader in the healthcare space. This role will be central to building and optimizing the analytical data foundation that supports healthcare operations and decision‑making. You will work across engineering, analytics, and governance partners to develop reliable pipelines, trusted models, and secure data workflows, while ensuring sensitive health information is handled appropriately and enabling timely, scalable insights across the organization.

Location: Remote – US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize high‑performance analytical models using dbt and SQL.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for processing large healthcare datasets.
• Design and automate production‑grade workflows with real‑time alerting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data governance and integration.
• Enforce HIPAA compliance and implement security measures for PII/PHI.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of analytics and data engineering experience.
• Proficient in SQL, dbt, Python, and orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
• In‑depth knowledge of healthcare data frameworks (FHIR, HL7, ICD‑10, CPT).
• Expertise in HIPAA regulations and PHI protection standards.
• Proven experience with cloud data environments (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS EMR/Redshift, BigQuery).

Pay

$110,000 – $145,000 annually
