Analytics Consultant - NC
Job Description
We are seeking an Analytics Consultant for a role focused on end-to-end analytics delivery. This position involves consulting on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for analytics. The role supports financial crimes risk models through ad hoc analytics and stakeholder requests, requiring the translation of technical findings into business insights for senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Analytics.
- Perform end-to-end analytics delivery, from data extraction and analysis to creating executive-ready presentations.
- Support financial crimes risk models, including customer, product, and country risk, by handling ad hoc analytics and stakeholder requests.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, or long-term analytics challenges.
- Translate technical findings into business-friendly insights for non-technical executives and senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain metrics reporting and analytical insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation and compliance initiatives.
- Present insights directly to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Analytics experience in Financial Crimes, AML, Fraud, Operational Risk, Sanctions, or Compliance Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong SQL expertise, including query writing, optimization, and refactoring across Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server environments.
- Experience with metrics reporting, risk analytics, and business intelligence reporting is necessary.
- Experience with stakeholder communication and management, including presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Corporate Risk experience.
- Experience producing executive-level reporting and business intelligence dashboards.
- Experience defining requirements for large-scale risk, compliance, or analytics initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Schedule
The role is a hybrid position, working 4 days onsite and 1 day remotely.
Pay
The pay rate is $53/hr - $57/hr.
