Job Description
Eurofins PSS is looking for an Analytical Development scientist that will contribute as part of a small team of scientists towards the development/optimization and qualification/verification of analytical methods to support small molecule analytical development.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and support analytical methods for process and formulation development using advanced scientific knowledge and expertise.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate complex experimental data and results to support project objectives and decision-making.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments independently while identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with cGMP, GLP, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, learn new techniques, and provide recommendations with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Basic Minimum Qualifications: BS in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering, or related pharmaceutical science with 2+ years relevant industry experience
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques with experience using multiple techniques (LC, GC, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, spectroscopic instruments, etc.) for small molecules.
- Experience with HPLC/ UPLC supporting small molecule characterization is a must
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Able to troubleshoot critical issues or problems and determine causes and possible solutions using appropriate information
- Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with method development, optimization and validation for small molecules
- Experience supporting stability testing and/or formulation study testing for small molecules using analytical techniques

- The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed.

Compensation
$30.00-$44.00 per hour based on education and related experience.
