Analytical Chemist II

About the role

The Analytical Chemist II supports oligonucleotide analysis and ensures analytical quality management using a variety of instruments such as LC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, Circular Dichroism, and UV-vis spectrophotometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform stability evaluations, sample preparation, and develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and data integrity.
• Conduct instrumental analyses, troubleshoot equipment, and interpret experimental data.
• Collaborate with team members to understand analytical requirements for oligonucleotides and support laboratory research.
• Maintain detailed records, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance.
• Follow quality, health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience with analytical instruments like LC-MS, HPLC, and related chromatography techniques.
• Proficient in developing chromatographic methods, sample handling, and data analysis software.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication are essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
