Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on various substances to support research, development, and quality control activities under the direction of the Laboratory General Manager.
- Execute established laboratory chemistry procedures to provide accurate and prompt chemistry data to clients.
- Perform analytical chemistry testing using various instrumentation such as: GCFID, HPLC, ICPMS, GCMSMS.
- Assist, oversee, and mentor Lab Techs to help them advance in their chemistry career.
- Review and approve QC data within parameters of precision and accuracy.
- Maintain complete and accurate chemistry documentation of activities in compliance with the Quality System.
- Prepare stock standards and reagents as needed, perform dilutions of samples and solutions, weigh stock compounds, prepare standard and fortification solutions, and calibrate preparation of primary analytical methods.
- Perform routine maintenance and follow preventative maintenance schedules on various instrumentation. Notify chemistry supervisor and take appropriate actions for non-conformances.
- Participate in corrective action process.
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related science field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial lab setting.
- Experience in testing supplements and nutraceticals is a plus!
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
- GC and GCMSMS experience highly preferred.
- Comfortable with applying tests from USP and FCC monographs.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., ChemStation, Empower) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements is desirable.

- Annual Salary between $65,000 - $85,000.
