Analytical Chemist
About the role
You will perform quality control testing on products and raw materials per established GMP and SOPs. The role involves producing and maintaining calibration records, maintaining analytical equipment, and determining pass/fail status of production samples submitted to the lab. You will provide technical support to production and customer service as needed, carry out preventative maintenance duties, compile and organize test data records, and produce accurate analytical certifications.
- Use Gas Chromatography to analyze and certify complex liquid and gas calibration standards
- Perform analysis on medical gases per SOPs and GMPs
- Perform analytical duties in support of the plant validation team
- Complete and maintain FDA medical gas paperwork
- Perform all other duties assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (emphasis on chemistry and/or math) or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Experience with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers preferred
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team
- Able and willing to lift 50+ lbs
- Must be able to work flexible hours
