Role: Analytical Chemist in the Fuels and Low Carbon Technology team, supporting low carbon energy solutions and bp’s projects. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze samples using advanced chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, operate state-of-the-art analytical equipment, maintain accurate records, interpret data, and communicate findings effectively. Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, develop and optimize analytical methods, ensure laboratory safety, and uphold data integrity. Qualifications: Ph.D. (minimum 2 years) or relevant experience with expertise in chromatography, Biochemistry, or Chemistry. Proven ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and deliver high-quality data. Effective communicator and organized team player. Familiarity with Agilent, Thermo, Bruker instruments, and proteomics/metabolomics workflows is desirable. Skills: Analytical techniques, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, safety adherence, and adaptability. Willingness to travel up to 10%. No remote work or relocation assistance provided.
