Analytic Consultant III

Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid) – minimum of three days a week in the office, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week.

This role involves increased responsibility for complex analytics initiatives, working directly with business partners across multiple functional areas. You will translate business needs into advanced analytical solutions and drive insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The position requires cross-functional collaboration, engagement with senior stakeholders, and the ability to manage competing priorities across initiatives. Work often spans multiple systems, datasets, and business processes, with heightened accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with precision and reduced error rates.
• Proactively support risk management in line with the risk policy, framework, and appetite.
• Deliver quality, sustainable, and risk-compliant solutions that meet or exceed customer and employee needs within agreed timelines.
• Escalate and resolve known issues to relevant teams with evidence of timely problem-solving.
• Identify and define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and recommendations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support client service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory, and risk management policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units and technology teams.
• Lead the identification and translation of complex business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Design and execute advanced analyses (e.g., predictive modeling, trend analysis, financial analysis).
• Interpret results and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
• Identify and source data across multiple internal and external systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with business and technology teams to drive solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced team members.
• Participate in or lead small to mid-sized project initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, computer science) or equivalent experience with 5+ years in analytics/reporting.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role is $86K – $120K USD (specific to the Minnesota location; may vary for other locations).
