Analyst, Surgical Services - Surgery Administration

About the role

The anticipated work schedule will include day shift hours, Monday-Friday, between 8am-5:00pm. Remote work opportunity is NOT available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize preference cards and monitor case time averages.
• Regularly review and update preference cards to ensure accuracy, alignment with physician needs, and consistency across cases.
• Helps to drive efficiency and reduce variability in the operating environment.
• Analyze data such as case time averages to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas where workflow adjustments can enhance productivity and throughput.
• Data-driven decision-making, improves scheduling accuracy, and ultimately contributes to delivering high-quality patient care while maximizing operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in Surgery Information Systems.
• Experience with Crystal Report Writer and SQL queries, and analyzes data using MS Excel - Pivot Tables.
• Demonstrated experience in effective decision and problem-solving skills and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in Surgery Information Systems.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Information Systems, or Information Systems Management.

Skills
