Analyst, Strategy & Business Development

About the role

This is an onsite role located in Benton Harbor, MI. The Strategy & Portfolio Management team is aligned with the C-suite at Whirlpool and drives initiatives in three major areas:

• Oversight of Whirlpool’s minority interests in Europe, China, and India
• Support in strategic center activities, including Board materials, senior leadership materials, and select strategic projects
• Management of competitive intelligence activities

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of one of Whirlpool’s minority interests
• Build recurring financial reports and update forecasts for Portfolio
• Own 3-4 quarterly competitive intelligence reports to send to senior leadership
• Assist, as needed, with creation of Board, Senior Leader, or other Executive Committee materials
• Support, as needed, with any M&A transactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years of Business Analyst experience
• 1+ years of experience in project management or change management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Mathematics
• Communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Experience delivering on short time frames and commitment to meeting deadlines
• International experience (personal or professional)

Schedule

• Always On Flexibility: Autonomy to manage personal, family, and outside-of-work commitments as needed
