About the role

Provides leadership and guidance on project assignments and analysis for a functional area.

Responsibilities

• Validates the accuracy of filings
• Manages records and communications per company guidelines
• Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making.
• Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adhere to requirements.
• Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
• Interacts with leadership throughout the organization to understand issues requiring analysis.
• Manage, coordinate, and assist in project management, goal setting and other related areas.
• As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required, or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree and Regulatory affairs experience are a plus.

Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience for the Senior Analyst role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Cognos and Power BI experience a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter and requires minimal supervision.
• Advanced PC skills, experience in data analytics, Microsoft Office and other business applications.
• Strong ability to develop detailed spreadsheets required.
• Excellent organizational skills and project management skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Willing and able to perform other duties as required and learn new processes and technologies.

Desired: Understanding of rates and riders; familiarity with regulatory policies and procedures.
