About the role
In this role, you'll support our engineering team and gain hands-on experience building and maintaining APIs using modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using AWS services to support business applications
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python and collaborate with teammates to integrate solutions across platforms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with APIs and applications to ensure optimal performance
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Develop your technical and professional skills through hands-on projects, training, and mentorship
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience developing APIs using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
- Familiarity with RESTful web services, API design principles, and OAUTH 2.0 flows
- Good knowledge of Python programming, with exposure to Java or TypeScript
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with teammates across different functions
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Experience working with Linux/Unix or Windows environments, involvement in coding projects, hackathons, or technical communities, Understanding of system architecture and infrastructure concepts
Skills
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
- RESTful web services, API design principles, and OAUTH 2.0 flows
- Python programming

This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change).
Pay
The base pay range for this role is $77,000 - $135,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
