Software Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assure that requirements are sufficiently detailed and consistent with program goals.
• Identify and refine any missing requirements.
• Break down requirements into backlog items consumable by the development team.
• Collaborate with the product owner to reflect program milestones in backlog items.
• Ensure the development team clearly understands each backlog item.
• Collaborate with the software architect and technical leads to make backlog items implementable and consistent with the system design.
• Ensure acceptance criteria are clear and unambiguous for both the development and validation teams.
• Quickly and adequately review and disposition options for simplification and scope change.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in molecular biology or analytical systems of similar complexity.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant regulated industry experience.
• Experience with software and systems development lifecycles.
• Experience in Agile Scrum software development processes preferred.
• Previous design control experience in a regulated environment preferred.
• Experience utilizing a requirements management software tool is preferred.
• Medical device or medical laboratory experience is a plus.
• Electro-mechanical systems experience is a plus.
