Job Description
The nonpartisan Legislative Affairs Agency provides objective, accurate, and timely services and products to the Alaska Legislature and Alaskans to support and inform policy making, facilitate public access to the legislative process, and preserve the legislative institution.
Working in seamless partnership across sections, staff approach their tasks with professionalism, grace, and courtesy in supporting the challenging and vital work of the legislative branch. - Work with stakeholders responsible for drafting and editing work flow processes used for bill production.
- Analyze software requirements, evaluate systems and suggest improvements.
- Develop and implement software improvements.
- Access/SQL database maintenance.
- Work as a member of the programming team.
- Able to maintain confidentiality in a politically sensitive environment.
- Work closely with customers to find solutions to their needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Analyst/Programmer III
- Two years of computer programming experience in a recognized computer language. One year of this experience must have been in a business application, scientific application, microcomputer or computer information management support specialty.
