PJT Camberview, PJT Partners’ industry-leading shareholder advisory business, advises public company boards and management teams on building productive relationships with investors and navigating complex shareholder matters, including shareholder engagement, strategic investor relations, activism and contested situations, ESG and sustainability, and corporate governance.

About the role

PJT Camberview seeks a highly motivated Analyst to join our advisory team. The Analyst will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of PJT Partners’ shareholder advisory business with a focus on the Governance business vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively within assigned client teams on content that spans Shareholder Advisory business verticals to support client mandates.
  • Assist in preparing high-impact management/investor presentations, press releases, scripts, and other deliverables relating to a range of investor matters—including both fundamental and governance issues.
  • Support client teams in delivering advice to senior executives and directors regarding strategic and investor topics, such as earning investor and proxy advisor support for unique/challenging shareholder votes, executive compensation, leadership succession, and transition across board and C-suite roles.
  • Evaluate client board and governance practices, disclosures, and messaging in the context of evolving investor priorities and provide advice on how to proactively mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Support the senior team’s efforts to identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
  • Develop effective preparation materials for pitch meetings.
  • Research, analyze, and develop materials relating to institutional investors and market developments for use with clients, prospects, and other market participants.
  • Contribute to the firm’s intellectual leadership by supporting the development of analytical frameworks and other research materials with broad applicability.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Resume must include graduation month, year, and GPA.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding qualitative, technical, and analytical skills (desired technical skills include Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Robust organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of capital markets.

Pay

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000.
