Analyst - PCard

Position Description Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies. Major/Essential Functions Review and approve purchasing card expense reports for appropriateness and accuracy. Process purchasing card expense reports in compliance with operating policies and guidelines. Maintain a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of federal, state, and local accounts and the HSC Purchasing Card (PCard) OPs. Interact with department end-users and vendors on purchasing card related issues. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Online Purchasing Card System: Emburse Enterprise. Other duties and projects as assigned. Equipment utilization and records control for audit. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Banner finance system and/or SciQuest e-Procurement system. Experience with Texas State purchasing card procedures. Bookkeeping and/or account reconciliation experience. Experience working in a similar position. Degree work or experience in Business, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field. Experience with Emburse Enterprise or similar administrative programs.
