Responsibilities
- Identifies and evaluates opportunities to grow backhaul and logistics income in a defined geographic area.
- Negotiates carriers’ contracted freight rates, implements programs, and manages and evaluates line-haul carriers to increase revenues and optimize profitability.
- Prepares and approves carrier bills, resolves complaints, and coordinates activities across departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1-2 years' experience in Logistics or related field (new graduates welcome).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and consistent communication with other departments.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Microsoft Office experience.
