About the role
This is a hybrid work opportunity out of our Montvale location.
Responsibilities
- Administer user accounts, security roles, permissions, client records, entities, and return setups across multiple tax technology applications
- Process onboarding, role changes, and access removals in compliance with firm policies and security requirements
- Provide first-level application support for user access, system configuration, setup requests, and basic issue resolution
- Monitor support queues, document support activities, and escalate complex issues to internal teams, vendors, or technology support groups as needed
- Perform data maintenance, validation, testing, release readiness activities, and provide support during critical filing season periods
- Maintain process documentation and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and user experience across applications, including ONESOURCE, SurePrep, GoSystem Tax RS, CCH Axcess Tax, K1X, and other tax compliance platforms
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent experience in application support, software administration, operations, help desk support, or a related technical support function required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or one year of relevant work experience in a business analyst, IT operations, systems administration or similar role is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Experience with ticketing, service management, workflow, or case management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a professional, customer-focused approach and excellent organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, user access administration, data maintenance, testing, documentation, and ticketing or service management tools; exposure to tax, accounting, professional services, financial systems, or compliance-related applications is preferred
