About the role

The Analyst Implant Inventory - Procedural Area Supply Chain - Day Shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital involves ensuring implants are available for scheduled surgical procedures. This includes collaborating with intradepartmental staff to track and bill implants and high-cost disposable supply items, and working with physicians’ offices and clinical staff to anticipate implant requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of all implants for surgical procedures by managing appropriate inventory par levels.
• Collaborate with vendors and Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with intradepartmental staff to facilitate the tracking and billing of implants and high-cost disposable supply items.
• Anticipate implant requirements for scheduled surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with programs such as Windows, Excel, etc.
• Knowledge of Inventory Management Processes.
• Knowledge of Surgical Procedure Nomenclature.

Qualifications

Experience in inventory control clinical supply chain is preferred.
