Analyst III - Lead Analyst, Load Forecasting

About the role

Lead Analyst, Load Forecasting is responsible for developing and maintaining load forecasting models to support energy planning and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced load forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns that influence future energy demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in load forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in load forecasting or similar analytical roles.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
