About the role
Lead Analyst, Load Forecasting is responsible for developing and maintaining load forecasting models to support energy planning and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced load forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns that influence future energy demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in load forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in load forecasting or similar analytical roles.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
