About the role

The Analyst of Product Master Data Management (PMDM) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and the PMDM solution within ADUSA. Their primary responsibility is to analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement or automation and to work with the business to deploy new capabilities inside the solution.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by defining and prioritizing key capabilities to optimize the product lifecycle inside the existing PMDM tool.
  • Champion the needs of the customer to the Product team and work with Product to prioritize the backlog from a business value perspective.
  • Translate business product goals and objectives into clear business requirements documents and partner with the Product Team to develop actionable product strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, Product, and 3rd party tool support to ensure the tool’s functionality aligns with business needs.
  • Lead training and system demos for all users.
  • Lead end-to-end UAT and ticket support.
  • Develop relevant test scripts and drive UAT activities, participate in scrum ceremonies, and support change management activities (e.g., training, communications).
  • Ensure end users are well supported and IT tickets/root cause analysis are completed within department SLA’s. First line of defense for escalation.
  • Implement data analytics to monitor the effectiveness of the item lifecycle tool and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership highlighting tool performance and process enhancements.
  • Domain applications/process expert across legacy systems and PMDM.
  • Keep PMDM system training up to date.

Qualifications

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, operations, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years' experience in project management (e.g., Agile/Product Teams ways of working), operations, or product lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of item lifecycle management processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies for product management, project management, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma Certifications.
  • Knowledge of existing Product Management System.

Pay

  • Salary Range: $63,440-$95,160 IL/MA/MD/NY
  • Salary Range: $72,880 - $109,320 ME
