Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, installation, and maintenance of corporate technology solutions.
- Provide support for hardware, software, applications, network systems, and end-user computing environments.
- Perform workstation setup, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
- Aid with server setup, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Support hardware and software installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining and supporting network hardware, software, cabling, and communication services.
- Diagnose and resolve routine technical issues using established procedures and support methodologies.
- Document system configurations, support activities, and technical resolutions.
- Collaborate with Information Technology team members and business users to resolve issues and support operational needs.
- Contribute as a team member on technology improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
- Follow established IT procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging technology trends and advancements.
Additional Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 0 to 1 year of Information Technology experience.
- Knowledge of relevant infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to: Mainframe operating systems and software, Storage hardware and software, Network hardware, software, and cabling, Voice and data network services, PC hardware and operating systems, Server hardware and operating systems.
- Applies foundational knowledge of Information Technology principles, practices, and procedures.
- Serves departmental goals through effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
- Maintains awareness of costs and efficiency related to assigned work activities.
- Contributes technical support to project teams and departmental initiatives.
- Collaborates with others to achieve project goals within designated scope and timelines.
- Works under guidance with no formal project management responsibilities.
