IT Analyst I

About the role

The IT Analyst I is responsible for providing support in analyzing, developing, and implementing information systems. A focus on efficiency, the ability to resolve sophisticated problems, and attention to detail are keys to success.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
• Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components in a timely, cost-effective manner
• Supports systems for business and application processes
• Works with key business partners to identify and define requirements

Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priority
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
• Provides assistance and support in analyzing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting computer programs in a timely, cost-effective manner
• Works under direct supervision performing routine tasks
