ANALYST I
About the role
The Grievance Analyst I will process all incoming incarcerated person grievances for submittal to the Centralized Screening Team (CST). Processing includes identification and notification of any imminent risks pertaining to incarcerated person or institutional safety, incarcerated person release date, identification of PREA and Use of Force allegations. The Analyst I prepares statistical reports as needed. This position will track the nature, disposition, and corrective actions generated by incarcerated person grievances filed on institutional issues. Compiles statistical data on specific grievance issues and grievance related information. Tracks all overdue routine grievance responses and maintains statistics on noncompliance with time constraints. Process and track Reasonable Accommodation Requests (CDCR 1824).

Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a correctional corrections program is highly desirable. Previous experience in a correctional setting is preferred.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

$3,861.00 - $4,839.00 A
Schedule
12 month limited term position, may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
