About the Role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Analyst, GBS Leadership Operations & Governance, located in the US. The Analyst supports the operating cadence, governance routines, service management materials, performance visibility, and strategic execution activities needed to enable a consistent and scalable Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This individual contributor role partners closely with GBS leaders, functional teams, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate priorities, prepare leadership materials, track initiatives, maintain governance processes, and help translate organizational priorities into clear plans and practical follow-through. This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working across a global matrixed environment, and able to bring clarity, discipline, and momentum to fast-moving priorities while supporting leadership teams with strong coordination, reporting, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of GBS strategic priorities by coordinating activities, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress against key objectives.
  • Maintain executive action trackers, business priorities, and organizational commitments to support timely follow-through.
  • Assist with annual operating plans, business reviews, planning cycles, and leadership routines by coordinating inputs, preparing materials, and tracking outcomes.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and open items that may impact execution and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives by organizing inputs, documenting decisions, tracking deliverables, and supporting stakeholder alignment.
  • Support governance routines, leadership team meetings, operational reviews, service review meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Prepare agendas, pre-reads, executive presentations, briefing materials, meeting summaries, decision logs, and action registers.
  • Maintain governance documentation, meeting outputs, decisions, risks, and open items to support accountability and consistent execution.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities with leaders and stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are documented and advanced to completion.
  • Help establish and maintain consistent operating rhythms that improve leadership team effectiveness and decision-making.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of GBS scorecards, dashboards, KPIs, and recurring performance reports.
  • Consolidate data and inputs across teams to provide visibility into service quality, operational performance, customer experience, risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Reporting & Insights teams to improve data quality, automate recurring reporting where possible, and streamline reporting processes.
  • Prepare concise executive-ready updates, talking points, and summaries that support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Use data and structured analysis to help inform leadership discussions and identify areas requiring attention.
  • Maintain and update the GBS Service Catalog, including service definitions, ownership information, service levels, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Coordinate inputs from functional leaders and delivery teams to keep service management content accurate, current, and easy to use.
  • Support standardized service management frameworks, operating procedures, governance artifacts, and business process resources.
  • Coordinate the intake, tracking, and reporting of continuous improvement opportunities across the GBS portfolio.
  • Maintain improvement trackers, action logs, benefit documentation, status updates, and follow-up materials to support transparency and accountability.
  • Identify process pain points, documentation gaps, standardization opportunities, and ways to simplify work across functions and regions.
  • Support alignment across delivery centers by documenting common practices, tracking standardization opportunities, and helping teams reduce process variation.
  • Coordinate working sessions, collect inputs, organize materials, and capture decisions that enable common governance, metrics, and operating models.
  • Assist with implementation planning, adoption tracking, and communication of service management and operational excellence practices.
  • Help strengthen consistency and discipline in how service delivery priorities are documented, reviewed, and advanced.
  • Partner with functional leaders, site leaders, process owners, Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather inputs and support organizational priorities.
  • Create clear, concise materials for leadership discussions, including agendas, status updates, pre-reads, action summaries, and decision logs.
  • Track commitments and follow-ups with stakeholders to help ensure priorities move from discussion to execution.
  • Communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes in a structured and professional manner.
  • Build effective working relationships across the organization to facilitate collaboration, alignment, and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, service management, process improvement, or operational excellence coursework/certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Operations, Process Improvement, Service Management, HR Operations, Business Management, project coordination, strategy execution, or related functions.
  • Experience supporting governance processes, operational reporting, scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, or recurring business review materials.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams, tracking actions, preparing meeting materials, and following up on deliverables.
  • Experience preparing executive-ready presentations, updates, summaries, and leadership communications.
  • Comfort working in a global, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving timelines.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement, governance routines, service catalog management, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives preferred.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $94,000.00 - $170,000.00 USD Annual.
