Analyst, Financial Reporting

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare 10-Q/10-K financial statement schedules and footnotes.
• Prepares Financial, Management and Ad Hoc reports and identifies potential opportunities for improvement to reports, reporting processes or formats.
• Learns business drivers and their effect on financial results.
• Ensures that monthly accounting/reporting close activities and variance analyses are adequately and properly prepared, and maintained in a timely manner.
• Works with Accounting Operations teams to get transactions recorded properly in line with reporting requirements.
• Performs detail review of work submitted by Accountants and provides functional advice, guidance, and training.
• Understands business drivers and their effect on financial results to ensure business changes are accurately reflected in the financial statements, analysis and communication.
• Uses accounting concepts, experience, analytical skills and knowledge of industry to resolve issues in creative and effective ways, and to ensure that appropriate judgment is applied.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Accounting (Required)
• 2+ years related working experience. (Required)
