Analyst - Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Execute and perform monthly close process across all North America entities, adhering to the firm’s structured close calendar and maintain accurate financial information in the Workday accounting system;
• Perform daily accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger transactions spanning all corporate accounting areas including cash controls, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, accruals, other assets and liabilities, and intercompany;
• Prepare month-over-month variance analysis on key income statement and balance sheet movements, flagging anomalies and communicating findings to senior finance leadership;
• Aid with intercompany reconciliations and consolidation checks across multiple legal entities;
• Aid with 10-Q/10-K reporting workpapers including fixed asset schedules, AP & accrued expense schedules, other asset schedules, goodwill & intangibles analysis, and lease schedules.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting;
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting function;
• Public accounting experience preferred;
• CPA license and public accounting experiences preferred;
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP system;
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including general ledger processes and month-end close procedures;
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, proactively follows tasks through to completion;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and levels;
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.

Pay

Expected annualized base salary of $85,000 to $95,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
