Analyst, E-Commerce Sales and Marketing
About the role
The Ecommerce Business Analyst will support the strategic and operational performance of our ecommerce channels. This role combines data governance, performance analysis, operational leadership, and cross-functional coordination to drive eCommerce growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial—comfortable using data to lay foundational storytelling, turning insights into action, and managing multiple workstreams with several stakeholders simultaneously (e.g., Brand Marketing, Finance, Planning).
Responsibilities
- Analyze full-funnel ecommerce performance to identify margin drivers and performance gaps.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on marketing performance, inventory, pricing, and promotions to improve sales and profitability; apply insights to optimize customer experience and conversions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot unauthorized seller patterns to ensure a seamless experience.
- Oversee product data accuracy, taxonomy, categorization, and variation strategy.
- Align digital marketing strategy—including national media, retail media, SEO, and promotions—with ecommerce priorities and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with brand and content teams to define site enhancements, support initiative prioritization, and validate post-launch impact with agreed-upon KPIs.
- Maintain and manage the product assortment, pricing strategy, promotional calendar, and digital merchandising plans.
- Develop and optimize data sets to inform and optimize revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Track ecommerce performance, with accountability for conversion, traffic, AOV, LTV, and customer retention metrics.
- Monitor competitive landscape, industry benchmarks, market trends, and customer insights to guide business decisions.
- Support Marketing, Planning, and Finance teams with both planned and ad-hoc research and reporting projects.
- Manage budgets, invoice processing, and accruals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce sales and marketing roles, with demonstrated success achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and online consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and stay highly organized.
- Experience working in retail or consumer goods industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and other relevant software applications.

Schedule
Hybrid work schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the Tarrytown office; remote on Mondays and Fridays.
