Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for at-risk affiliates.
- Partnering with affiliate leadership to develop practical corrective action plans.
- Making referrals for disciplinary action.
- Monitoring compliance with Habitat policies and ministry requirements.
- Evaluating affiliate submissions and presenting recommendations to the Compliance Committee.
- Developing measurable improvement plans for affiliates on probation.
- Tracking organizational risk trends and preparing reports for leadership.
- Designing and improving systems, tools, and processes that strengthen affiliate oversight.
- Collaborating across teams to solve complex organizational challenges.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to affiliates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of experience working with Habitat for Humanity or a similar nonprofit organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience building collaborative relationships while navigating sensitive situations.
- Compassion, patience, persistence, and sound judgment.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in: Nonprofit organizational risk assessments, Compliance or governance, Conflict resolution or mediation, Organizational development, Change management, Continuous process improvement, Performance monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of Habitat for Humanity’s mission and affiliate model is highly preferred.

For work locations in the US, the annual hiring range for this position is: $63,900.00 - $84,700.00 USD.
